I Hate Mountains is out and loaded to the server. As soon as the copy for Left 4 Dead 2 is out I’ll also be loading that. After watching server loads I have found 4 public servers to be too many with the current hardware installed so as to keep all game play on my servers a quality experience I have trimmed it down to 2 until I have the funds to further upgrade the hardware and add extra servers.

The expected Left 4 Dead 2 server rebuild will not be needed anymore as I was able to fix the srcds_linux memory issues that were causing it to crash randomly. Looks like it was simple enough…well simple when you just completely remove the entire hlds and reload it. Best as I can assume is it must have became corrupt at some point.

Left 4 Dead 2 has been launched for a few days now, but I just finally got the Public server up and running (loaded with 8 players right away!). Please check it out at l4d2.tntnetworx.net:27016.

I have went through and added maps that were missing and removed old maps from the servers. I am currently hosting 58 custom Left 4 Dead (L4D) maps and once the last 2 (I Hate Mountains – from the makers of Portal: Prelude and Bioh4zard 2) are released it will be 60 maps total! Please check out which once I’m hosting and snag a few to play on the server.
